Wholegrain Buckwheat Flour is milled the traditional way, using a stoneground process, from naturally gluten and wheat free wholegrain buckwheat. It does, however, contain gluten from the adjacent growing, storage or processing of wheat.
Our Organic Rye Flour has a distinctive flavour and is still milled the old fashioned way, using whole grains of rye in the stoneground process. It is naturally lower in gluten than wheat, producing close textured breads with a pleasing continental flavour.
This 1kg pack is suitable for home bakers and provides enough flour to make roughly 4 rye soda bread loaves.
A blend of naturally gluten free ingredients, use this flour as an alternative to self raising flour made from wheat. Follow one of our gluten free recipes or adapt a traditional recipe by adding a little extra liquid. Using this 1kg size pack you can bake half a dozen cakes without any gluten.
